Training health workers using the tool in their pocket

Only 5 years ago, it was difficult to think of the mobile phone as a training tool. However, with technology and innovation, things have changed for the better. It is with this back drop that Amref Health Africa hosted a side meeting focusing on mobile phone technology in Africa and training community health workers. This was during the annual, and final, Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meetings held in New York in late September 2016.
